The cutting-edge Larnach Castle Tour allows you to not only hear the informative
audio tour, but also see the beautiful period videos and images of what life was
like for the Larnach family in days gone past.
The new family of the house, the Barkers have spent the last 40 years lovingly
restoring the building and recreating the beauty of the 14 hectares of gardens and
grounds. And now with the tour, you too can see what a difference they have made to
this once forgotten gem of New Zealand.
The Larnach Castle tour app includes audio, video and image content, so please make
sure you are connected to wifi when downloading and using the app. The Castle has
free wifi for this purpose, please ask at front desk for the password. You will find
full instructions within the app for ease of use.
The Castle team also kindly asks you to please use earphones when using the tour app
in the Castle so that others may to have a magical experience.
